Chris Sturgeon

Chris Sturgeon

Managing Director

Chris is a founding partner and Managing Director of Red Penguin Associates. During a career spanning more than 28 years in the submarine cable industry, he has acquired a wealth of experience in a broad range of disciplines both on and off shore and more recently leading the consultancy work Red Penguin provides to industry leaders.

A master mariner with 10 years command of cable installation and maintenance vessels, with 12 years consulting experience, Chris' insight has been instrumental in the resolution of notable challenges across the industry.

He is a Fellow of The Royal Institute of Navigation and Freeman of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners.

Peter Worrall

Peter Worrall

Operations Director

Peter is a founding partner of Red Penguin Associates and is the Company's Operations Director. He is a master mariner with 40 years experience in the submarine cable industry.

He has extensive command experience acquired on cable ships and multi role construction vessels and through management of a broad range of special submarine cable projects across all sectors of this industry. As a lead protagonist of many of the techniques employed today, Peter has a well-established reputation for operational knowledge and the underpinning principles of cable work.

Consulting for the last 20 years he has been involved in a great many interesting and challenging operations worldwide.

Peter is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and a Freeman of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners.
